Staff Bios
|
Brittany Denny
Her name may be pronounced "Britain Knee," but it doesn't stop her from teaching art, ZOOM,
and other fun stuff. When she isn't galloping off to the backroom for supplies, she can
also be found greeting guests with an unmatchable amount of enthusiasm, singing children's
songs from the early 1900's, and other things that make absolutely no sense to the rest of
the staff.
|
|
Sharon Glick
The Glickster is a legend among us mere humans. If she were a superhero, which she is,
her name would be "Doodle Woman" or possibly "Super Programs Lady"...not very fearsome but
gets to the point. She illustrated the recently published Perros! Perros! Dogs! Dogs!,
and with her newfound fame, the staff at the Children's Museum fully expects a Sharon Glick
signature mp3 player by this summer.
|
|
Devon Lawson
Some have accused Devon Lawson of having an obsession with rock n' roll, Godzilla, and
ZOOM projects that demand the response: "This is the best day ever." These accusations
are 100% true, but the fact still remains that pointing a finger is rude. Aside from being
the only male employee at the Children's Museum, Devon also has interests in science,
music, teaching, and the unknown (cue mysterious music).

|
Laura Prindiville
Where does Laura Prindiville's charm come from? Is it her curly hair or her million-dollar
smile? The world may never know. What the world does know is that she does great work
for the Children's Museum, helping us leap over tall buildings in a single bound instead of
the old method of several small bounds that required hours of work beforehand.

Gaby Tusell
Gaby Tusell is our Guatemalan superstar. She teaches Spanish here as well as watching the
front desk. What she does best though is making people smile with her cute, but highly
crazy, antics. She may be slightly afraid of the cash register, but the energy she brings
to work every day makes you forget the squeak she makes as she presses the wrong key
ringing up your snack order.
|
|
Rose Vallor
Rose Vallor has so many science experiments in that noggin of hers that she doesn't know
what to do with them all. She is the ZOOM master and has helped create such an amazing
ZOOM class that at one point in time required three teachers at once just to handle the
overflow of students. If Rose had a quarter for every time one of her students said,
"Cool!", she would have retired long ago.

|
Julia Sable
Also known as "Dr. Volcano," Julia is our graphic designer and resident volcanologist.

Lezlee Black
When you see Lezlee Black, you often ponder the question: How does she do it? On a typical
day at the Children's Museum, she watches her four kids, two of her kids' friends, washes the
windows, cleans the bathroom, and vacuums rice...all of which are generally done
simultaneously non-stop without breaks, except to play with the marbles.
