PAW:   Preschool Activities Workshops

Sign up your preschooler for an amazing hour of art and other activities with a highly qualified (and super-incredibly fun) instructor sandwiched between two 15-minute slices of supervised museum time. It's all the cuteness and creativity that we can stand in one room! PAW is a drop-off program. It's a great chance for grown-ups to get things done, spend time with a younger child, or grab a cup of coffee and relax.

PAW Instructor Brittany Denny is an experienced preschool teacher with a background in the arts. Age appropriate activities will range from drawing and painting to sculpture and collage.

EsPAWñol instructor Gaby Tusell, also an experienced preschool teacher, hails from Guatemala and positively radiates enthusiasm. In EsPAWñol, kids will learn Spanish through games, art, and music.

Classes limited to 8 children. Pre-registration and deposit required to reserve a spot. Please note: deposit is refundable only for cancellations made at least 1 week before program start date. Wee Wednesdays

Back by popular demand, CMB will be hosting Wee Wednesdays every Wednesday from 10am - 12pm, where we'll have special activities just perfect for toddlers. We'll have waterplay, rainbow ice, play-dough, story time, and more. It's a great place for an established or impromptu playgroup!

Music Lingua

Music Lingua is a music-based foreign-language program for children 9 months to 6 years, using music, movement, storytelling and drama to present current concepts and key vocabulary. Emphasis is on hearing the spoken language, learning the songs, and in the process, learning target vocabulary and phrases. Parents receive CD or cassette tape of the songs sung in class, along with a music booklet with song lyrics and translations. We offer 12 week parent/child sessions in French, German or Spanish. Music Lingua LLC gives parents the incentive they need to start their children in a second language, and insures that their child's first exposure to a foreign language is a fun one. Classes will be held once a week for 45 minutes and cost $130 (+$45 for siblings over 1 year).
