Our exciting and enriching summer camp program serves nearly 100 kids each year, and we couldn’t do it without a core group of dedicated volunteers.
We’re currently looking for motivated, responsible and engaging volunteers over the age of 14 who are willing to make a week-long 40-hour commitment. Volunteers can sign up to work a single week-long camp, or are welcome to join us for several camps over the course of the summer. (more…)
Get ready for tons of summer art and science fun at the CMB! Our summer day camps run every week from June 11th through August 10th, and keep young minds engaged with hands-on activities, exciting experiements, and fascinating field trips. Designed for ages 5 to 11, and offered with both half-day and full-day options. Call us at 522-9087 to enroll!
The new Build It exhibit will bring out the budding architect in both children and parents. Together you can explore the plumbing found inside a wall, build a five-foot-tall rocket or mansion with straws, construct a Keva block tower, and use real tools at our construction bench. Families will have too much fun to even notice they are building teamwork and problem-solving skills in this all-hands-on exhibit.
Experience a once-a-month interactive, sing-a-long music class with Kate Bryan of Music Together. Each event will have a fun music theme featuring family oriented Music Together songs along with rhythm-making, dance, improvisation and creative play.
